Isn’t eating fat bad for you? Am I going to get heart disease?
The short answer is no. Since around World War 2 the western world has been under the spell of one man, Ancel Keys, who perpetuated half-truths and outright falsehoods about the dangers of eating fat, especially saturated fat. This one man is responsible for the fat phobia that has permeated society since WW2. So much science has since disproved his claims, and yet the phobia persists.
